All Saints in Sedgley to host Queen's 90th birthday exhibition

All Saints Church in Sedgley is set to hold an exhibition to mark the Queen's 90th birthday.

Dudley MP Ian Austin will officially open the exhibition at All Saints Church, Priory Lane, Sedgley DY3 3UA at 10am on Friday 10th June.

The exhibition is open to all local residents from Friday 10th-Sunday 12th June and features 90 stories from members of the local community to mark each year of the Queen's life.

Local resident Martin Jones has organised the exhibition in honour of the Queen’s birthday as a part of this weekend’s celebrations, across the country.

Ian Austin said:

“Martin Jones has done a fantastic job at putting together this event at All Saints Church and I think it will be a great way to bring the whole community together.

“There are lots of great events happening this weekend, and this is a great way to celebrate local history from throughout the Queen’s life.

“I am excited to have the opportunity to listen to locals share the stories they have collected over the years.”
