Austin celebrates build up to Black Country Day at community lunch

Dudley MP Ian Austin is attending a celebration lunch ahead of Black Country Day.

Dudley MP Ian Austin is to attend a lunch run by Dudley Christian Fellowship for local elderly people to celebrate the build up to Black Country Day.

Austin will be attending the Black Country Lunch on Thursday 10th July at 1pm at the Dudley Community Church.

Ian Austin has been invited to the event by the Dudley Christian Fellowship, who will be providing lunch and entertainment for local elderly residents. The Dudley Christian Fellowship provides a great amount of support to the local community. Their volunteers work hard to provide services such as a youth club, a counselling service and meals for the homeless.

Ian Austin said:

“The Dudley Christian Fellowship is doing great work for local residents. I want to show my support for the volunteers there who provide much needed support and services for local people.

“In the build up to Black Country day it is important that the community comes together and celebrates the great work volunteers do to help local people. I am really looking forward to being part of this Black Country Lunch and showing my support for the brilliant work which the Dudley Christian Fellowship does.”
