Austin celebrates local attractions for Museum Week

Dudley MP Ian Austin is calling on local people to visit Dudley’s local attractions in Museum Week.

Museum Week runs from 24-30 March, and the Black Country Living Museum is encouraging local people to visit and share their memories of local museums.

The third night in Museum Week, Wednesday 26 March, is themed around people’s stories about local museums. Visitors can share their story on Twitter using the hashtag #museummemories.

Ian Austin said:

“I’ve got some great memories of the Black Country Living Museum, including their Victorian Christmas Night and washing dishes in the Stables Restaurant as a summer job when I was a student!

“Dudley’s got some great attractions and this is brilliant opportunity to celebrate that.”
