Austin celebrates tax break for local charities and businesses

Dudley MP Ian Austin is celebrating a tax break that is benefiting 1,200 local employers.

Over 1,200 charities and small businesses in Dudley have taken up the ‘Employment Allowance’, a National Insurance tax break worth up to £2,000 every year.

Austin pushed the Government to offer the tax break to help struggling charities and small businesses in Dudley.

He is now calling on other local employers to take advantage of this support.

Ian Austin said:

“Times are tough for small businesses and charities at the moment, so I’m really pleased that hundreds have taken up this help.

“I want great local charities like the St. Thomas’s Network and Priory Boxing Club to be able to benefit from this to support their great work in the community.”
