Ian Austin will be pulling pints to help raise funds for Scouts in Sedgley on Friday evening.
The MP is a member of the Campaign for Real Ale and has been taking part in local beer festivals for over 25 years.
Last year’s Sedgley Scouts Beer Festival saw visitors get through 2,000 pints in support of the Scout Group and local good causes. This year’s festival will also be offering cider, wines as well as live entertainment and a new gin bar.
Ian Austin MP said:
“I was a Cub Scout myself in Dudley, and I know from experience that the Scouts help young people to develop much needed life skills.
“Last year’s festival was really popular and raised lots of money for good causes, so I’m really pleased to help out by pulling a few pints.
“The Black Country is home to some of the best brewers in Britain like Holden’s and Fownes and brilliant pubs like The Beacon and The Jolly Crispin, so there should be some excellent beer on offer.”
