Dudley MP Ian Austin will host a Parliamentary Reception for a Dudley-based problem gambling charity on Wednesday 27 November.
Local charity the Gordon Moody Association is holding the reception to raise awareness of its work amongst MPs.
The charity offers a unique programme of residential treatment for problem gamblers in Dudley and London, as well as online support and outreach services to problem gamblers in other countries.
Ian Austin MP said:
“I am delighted to support the Gordon Moody Association in its first ever Parliamentary reception.
“The charity does a lot to help problem gamblers in Dudley and the rest of the country, and this is a fantastic opportunity to showcase a local charity doing cutting edge work.”
Elaine Smethurst, Managing Director of the Gordon Moody Association, said:
“The Association is well known for its intensive work with problem gamblers, and it’s great to be able to share that work with MPs and others in the private, public and voluntary sectors from up and down the country.”
