Dudley MP Ian Austin will be visiting Blower’s Green Primary School and taking part in a Q&A session with year 6 class this week.
Austin will be talking to pupils about his job as an MP in Dudley and his role in Parliament before taking questions from the children.
He will be visiting Blowers Green Primary School, Blowers Green Road, DY2 8UZ on Friday 25th November at 9am.
Austin went to school in Dudley and regularly organises trips to Parliament and visits to local schools so that pupils can ask him about his role as their local MP.
Ian Austin said:
“Education needs to be our number one priority in Dudley, so I’m really pleased to be visiting Blower’s Green Primary School and talking to pupils about my role as their local MP.
“It is great to see that pupils are taking an interest in politics and the world around them, even at a young age.
“I am looking forward to meeting the children, I just hope their questioning isn’t too tough.”
