Austin urges local charities to apply for new funds

Dudley North MP Ian Austin is urging local charities to apply for a share of funds raised by the People’s Postcode Lottery.

£6 million will be available this year to fund projects including those to improve the local environment, support mental and physical health, improve community relations and help vulnerable people.

Ian Austin said:

“I want local charities in Dudley to get a share of this cash so I am urging them to apply for these funds.

“Lots of good causes are being hit by cuts to funding so opportunities like this are extremely important to keep local charities going.

“I hope that charities are successful and the money goes to supporting projects here in Dudley”
