Austin visits Age UK Dudley

Dudley MP Ian Austin has visited Age UK Dudley to find out about the work across Dudley Borough as part of Volunteers’ Week.

Austin will visit Age UK at 3 Dudley Court North, The Waterfront, Level Street, Brierley Hill DY5 1XP at 2pm on Thursday 2nd June.

Austin is joining local organisations across Dudley to help mark national Volunteers’ Week and celebrate the contribution that volunteers make across the borough.

Age UK offers a range of services to support older people across the borough from day centre provision to foot care.

Austin will be meeting with team members, volunteers and clients to find out about some of Age UK’s local projects and how they work.

Ian Austin said:

“Age UK do brilliant work for older people across the borough, not just by offering vital services such as day centres but by working to combat loneliness and isolation too.

“We have an aging population so this work is set to become more and more important.

“This is a great opportunity to meet with volunteers and team members to hear how I can help support their work.”
