Dudley North MP Ian Austin has been thanked by the British Beer Pub Association for his hard work on behalf of the Great British pub.
The British Beer and Pub Association campaigns on behalf of our millions of landlords, their staff and their customers.
Austin campaigned for a reduction in taxes and duties on beer sold in pubs and backed a recent CAMRA campaign aimed at boosting local community pubs.
As a result of this hard work the British Beer Pub Association have sent Austin a letter of thanks for his tireless efforts.
Ian Austin MP said:
“I am delighted that the Landlords of Britain have got the result they wanted and that I was able to help fight for it. The entertainment industry employs millions of people across the country and I want to do everything I can to support this industry and the jobs in creates.”
“Here in Dudley, we have seen the success of the Dudley CAMRA beer festival at the town hall, and smaller events at pubs such as the Courthouse. It’s important to recognise and support well-run community pubs and brewers, they’re a great part of our local heritage.”
