DUDLEY NORTH MP IAN AUSTIN TO ATTEND LAUNCH OF NEW DUDLEY MUSIC SCHOOL

Dudley North MP Ian Austin will attend the launch of a new music school in Dudley tomorrow, Saturday.

The Tamo Music Productions school is aimed at young people to learn music – free of charge – to combat the high prices of music lessons.

Austin and the Mayor of Dudley will be attending the launch at 11.30am on Saturday 28th September at the Abberley Street Centre, Abberley Street, Dudley  DY2 8QY

They will be joined at the launch by the legendary reggae artists Macka B and Dennis Bovell.

Parents are also welcome to attend with their children and give them a chance to learn how to play a musical instrument of their choice.

For more information please contact Errol Melbourne on 07854 042668 or ACCN Centre on 01384 256365.

Ian Austin said:

“Learning to play a musical instrument is a really important skill but so often parents are priced out of giving their children this opportunity.

“That’s why a new free music school will be really crucial in giving young people these important skills.

“I hope that many parents can join on the day  and bring their kids along to learn music for free.”
