Dudley pharmacist, Ms Olutayo Arikawe has won a top NHS award.
The NHS Parliamentary Awards recognise NHS staff who go above and beyond the call of duty to improve health care.
Dudley MP Ian Austin had nominated Ms Arikawe, who runs the Priory Community Pharmacy on the Priory Estate, for the Excellence in Healthcare category.
Ian Austin said:
“I nominated Olutayo because of the fantastic work she and her team do in our community.
“The work the Pharmacy does on the Priory makes a massive difference in Dudley – offering a wide range of services and community work to improve health as well as running campaigns on health awareness and healthy living.
“So I think it’s a great and well-earned achievement for Olutayo and her colleagues!”
