50 years on - why Britain is a better place

This year marks the 50th anniversary of Enoch Powell’s notorious Rivers of Blood speech at the Midland Hotel in Birmingham.

50 years on I want you to join me and a number of guest speakers to show that he was wrong and why Britain is a better place.

I will be joined by some brilliant other speakers including Eleanor Smith MP, who represents Powell’s former seat in Wolverhampton, Shabana Mahmood MP, Preet Gil MP, Neena Gill CBE MEP and Ravi Subramanian, Unison’s Regional Secretary.
