Sedgley businesswoman wins top awards

A local businesswoman has won two top awards for her weight loss business.

Kay Bowen has received the ‘Above and Beyond’ award and been named as the highest achiever in the West Midlands for the last quarter by Cambridge Weight Plan for going the extra mile for her clients and growing her business.

Dudley MP Ian Austin nominated Ms Bowen for an award and will be celebrating her success at 12:30pm on Friday 18th December at Dudley Council House, Priory Road DY1 1HF.

The award follows Ms Bowen’s work to open a new centre in the heart of Sedgley and work with local restaurants to create healthy menus for people that want to lose weight.

Ian Austin said:

“I’m delighted to see Kay’s success being recognised with these awards.

“I know how hard she has worked to come up with new ideas, support local charities and keep her business growing. I think she has done an absolutely brilliant job, so this is well deserved.”

Kay Bowen said:

“It’s great to be winning this award after setting up my business just last year and helping lots of local people achieve their weight loss goals.

“I always go the extra mile for my clients so I’m really grateful to them for making this possible.

“I’m based in Sedgley and anybody wishing to sign up to Cambridge Weight Plan with me is welcome to call into the Centre or call 07528 126 612 to book an appointment.”
